Short description: Divine Providence Catholic Church of Rikava (Baltiņi) was built in 1832 by earl Antonijs Riks. It is one of the most outstanding sacral buildings of late classicism in Latgale. There are thee altars with saint paintings in the church – „Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary”, „Heart of Jesus” and „Saint Anthony”. There are several memorial slabs in the church and the Riks’ Family Chapel in the cemetery

Short description: Virgin Mary Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church of Sarkaņi was built in 1860. The first wooden building was constructed at the end of 17th century. The dean Antons Latkovskis looked forward to building a new church already in 1830 in Sarkaņi. In his will he asked his relatives to complete the building and in 1897 the church was consecrated. It is a very simple quadrangular rubble building. It has a small foursquare tower on the roof above the entrance. One should see there the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary of 15th – 16th century – inherited from the former church. There is a belief that the icon of Virgin Mary has a healing power. Sarkaņi is considered the oldest sacred place in Latgale; a pilgrimage place.

Short description: Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church of Stoļerova. The wooden building was constructed in 1770 with an axe without iron nails. It is an example of baroque style; the church was built by landlord Sokolovskis’ donations. In 1968 the church burnt, only brick tower bell was safe. The construction works of the church were finished in 1999 by the support of dean Butāns. The building is slightly larger than the previous one; the newest (restored) church in Rēzekne region. The church has the icon of Our Lady that was transferred from the chapel of Rozenmuiža.

Short description: Štikāni Old-Believers Prayer House. The old believer congregation was organized in Štikāni in 1700. The prayer house was built in the 1940s on the bank of a small river. The building was wooden and small. One night it burnt – after the service the prayers left the candles burning. The construction works of the church were later on the site of the previous church built by brothers Rogozini It is interesting fact that Štikāni was a surname for a lot of inhabitants of the village

Short description: Tiskādi Orthodox Church is the cultural monument of the local significance. It was built in 1878 as well as the house for the priest and two school buildings in Tiskādi and Štikāni. The Church was famous for its ancient icons, iconostasis, and the library. The books were delivered from Moscow Orthodox Church. In 1987 the church was closed and all the literature was kept in Rēzekne Museum. In 1993 the books were returned to Rēzekne Orthodox Church. The church was reconstructed in 2008. There are services in it.

Short description: Tiskādi Old -Believers Prayer House was built in 1680, a new one building was erected in 1886. The congregation is the oldest one in Latvia. In 1940s Tiskādi Old-Believers congregation was the second biggest one after Rīga Grebenščikova parish.

Short description: Uļjanova Old-Believers Prayer House was built in 1875. The Prayer House is not rich in decorations. It does not have remarkable arcitecture. However, everybody can come and confess there.

Short description: Vainova Old-Believers Prayer House was built in 1980 replacing the previous church that was burnt by lightening. Initially, the Prayer House was one of the biggest churches in Latgale (for 2 000 people). The congregation of the church exists since the 18th century.
