State forests of Latvia offer a variety of recreation opportunities: together with friends, family or alone. Forests allow everybody to relax from the city where everyone is in hurry and rush. In forests one can go in for sports, pick berries, mushrooms, and do angling or bird watching. It is possible to have a peaceful walk along the nature trail or use the facilitated picnic place near the lake.
