Short description: St. Aloizs Roman Catholic Church of Ostrone was built as a temporary church on the land gifted to the congregation by J. Pušmucovs in 1935. The works were supervised by the Dean: the Marian, Father B. Valpitrs CCM (Congregation Clericorum Marianorum). There are three altars with sculptures of the saints in the church.

Short description: St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church of Pilcene (Piļcine) is one of the oldest wooden churches in Latgale, built in 1670. It is prominent because of its half columns, hexagonal tower, semicircular windows, and a dome with a cross and antique interior. The church was built by local people with an axe, without saw; the wooden walls are joined by nails made by local builders. It was originally buit as a tomb. It is a monument of state importance.

Short description: Roman Catolic Church of Puša was built in 1743. Financed by Count Šadurskis; managed by Jesuits mission. There are 3 altars and the organ of the Latvian organ constructor J. Gremze in the church. It was consecrated in 1778. The church was built by local people with an axe. It is situated on a hill, surrounded by fence; the entrance gate is built of red brick. In the church garden one can see a tall (about 10 m high) bell tower with two bells, one was built in 1743 and the second in 1881. The tower is of local importance.

Short description: Rečina Old-Believers Prayer House was built in 1912. It has a rectangular shape with a single-hall, rubble-wall foundation and a small tower on the top of the altar. The main entrance is aside. The side façade has a triple division; a small bell tower is composed of four vertical beams and enclosure.
