Short description: Blessed Our Lady’s Birth Roman Catholic Church of Kaunata was rebuilt in 1850 by Zuzanna Druva after the wooden building was burned down. The church has a fabric icon „St. Elizabeth is visited by Mary”.

Short description: Krupenišku Old-Believer Prayer House was built in 1908. The autor of the design is engineer I. Ivanov. At present the church is in bad tehnical condition.

Short description: Kulnevskaya (Ilzeskalns) Orthodox Church was built in 1832 by Kulnevs, the landlord of Ilzenberg (Ilzeskalns) manor house. He was also the brother of general Jacob Kulnevs, who was the hero of the war against Napoleon (1812.). The Church has an iconostasis with icons of the 19th century. The rectangular building has semicircular niches at its sides. The members of Kulnevs family are buried here. Their graves are located under the floor, and white monuments serve as sarcophagus. The place of tomb is a rare phenomenon in Orthodox churches of Latvia. The church is a national art object, it was repaired for several times. In 1987 there was a fire and the interior was not saved. In 2012 the church was restored with the help of Rēzekne municipality and Russian Government financial support.

Short description: Lipuški Old-Believers Prayer House was built in 1893 at Lake Rāzna in village Lipuški. In former days, it was one of the largest Old-Believers parishes in the Baltic countries; one will notice Old-Believers cemeteries that are placed in the neighbourhood.

Short description: St. Cross Honouring Roman Catholic Church of Malta (Rozentova) is a national architectural monument. The church has a prominent picture „St. Mary Magdalene beside the Cross of Jesus” and three big altars made of wood. The wooden log building was constructed in 1780. It was sanctified in 1782. The church was very small and in 1842 it was rebuilt. Inside the church one can see small altars which are rather ancient and rare in Latgale. In the garden there is the church bell tower with three bells. On the other side of the garden there is an ancient cemetery with not finished monument to WWI German soldiers.

Short description: All Saints Orthodox Church of Malta (Rozentova) was built in 1928. It is the wooden log building with double window frames and a dome. Facades are decorated with the motive of the sun. The church is the local architectural monument.

Short description: St. Jānis the Baptist Roman Catholic Church of Nagļi was initiated by landlord Nābels and built in 1862. There is still an organ built in 1873. There are paintings of different centuries on three altars. The significant renovation was made in 2011. The magnificent church is an important example of the local constructing traditions.

Short description: Immaculate Conception of Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Nautrēni (Rogovka). The construction works of the brick church lasted from 1901 to 1914. It is an example of Romantesque style. The organ was bought in 1939; it is a national cultural monument.
